QEMU Simple Boot is a generic machine emulator and virtualizer for quick testing of boot loaders for USB flash drives or smaller image files with low resource requirements. It was not designed as a full virtualization environment, only supports up to 1024 MBytes of virtual memory and is therefore not suitable for Windows or Linux OS images.
QEMU Simple Boot boots USB, CD/DVD and floppy disk images as well as data carriers such as hard disks and CD drives.
It supports .iso, .ima and .img files.
