PolyHostInterface is available as a Standalone and VST3 plugin. It is a replacement for things like TobyBears MiniHost, SaviHost and Tone2's NanoHost. You can load VST2/3 x64 plugins, save the loaded plugins as a preset. This allows layering synths and chaining FX to create a complete single preset with many plugins loaded in a tabbed interface. Plugins can be reordered, mute and solo are available, as well as audio/midi recording in standalone. The real advantage this program offers is in editing plugins using the Pointer Control system. This allows using a handful of MIDI CC's to control almost every function on a plugin, even menus can be navigated using MIDI CC's. The plugin version can also set up Macros for allowing automation in a DAW. Pointer mappings can be saved and even shared. Create a map for a plugin and it automatically uses that map every time that plugin in loaded. You can create several maps for a plugin and use the mouse back/forward buttons to select a different pointer map. This is useful for plugins having tabs or different pages, thus requiring different maps due to layout changes.
