"CapsLock Goodbye" allows you to reassign the CapsLock key function. Anyone who has always been annoyed by accidentally switching to the capitalization setting when typing will find peace of mind with this program. Owners of older keyboards without special Windows keys also have the option of simulating one of these keys (Windows or application key) using the CapsLock key. Optionally, the functions for the Insert and Scroll keys can also be changed. Note: No driver or background program is installed, only a registry key provided by MS is changed. Nevertheless, it is strongly recommended that you have a system backup. Administrator rights are required to run the program. The settings take effect for all users. Windows must be restarted for the settings to take effect.
