There is another reason for which the import from file system will remain as it is today.

Often I receive requests from people that want to use this feature to import their program collection in SyMenu. Typically these program collections come from PortableApps or Liberkey or whatever.

If you act this way you are losing the SyMenu best feature that is the automatic update of your programs.
SyMenu is able to maintain your programs updated only if you "install" them with its own tool (Get new Apps).
And if you use the native SyMenu suite to install all the programs you are interested in, probably your need to import from the previous ones will reduce dramatically.

Can you confirm that the native SyMenu suite contains the majority of your program?
Otherwise what kind of programs you are using?

Is it possible that a so big slice of programs are still outside the SyMenu native suite?

Yes, Google Translate is a great tool for non-English speaking countries like me
I ’m a little disappointed with your first two replies ... because my habit is to place the portable software in folders according to categories, the number is too much, if I take one by one to create it manually, it is a very huge job ...
Fortunately, the third problem is solved.
Anyway, hope that in the future version, the first two proposals can be taken into account, thank you

edited by dasu88 on 09/12/2019

What...? Is Google translator so good in translating entire sentences today?
Time ago the automatic translation was only good for single words or... to have a laugh

Anyway let's go to your questions.
1) SyMenu fills the recent list only with programs under its control. If you executed a local program through a linked folder you won't find it among recent.
2) Nope. It would be a huge development for a feature you use at most once in a life. You have to import and the manually organize the imported items. Sorry.

3) There is not an "include option" but since SyMenu imports only .exe and .bat files, you can add a global ignore option such as this one: *.bat. The result will be the same as you'd use the *.exe include option.

Thank you for providing this good tool, I have a few questions I would like to ask as follows：

When I added a folder link in SyMenu, when executing the execution file of the subfolder, the history of the latest execution file is recorded. Only the upper-level folder can be recorded. Is there any way to record this execution file in the recent execution history?

Regarding the batch import function, is it possible to let the imported data include a tree path instead of placing all execution files at the first level?

There is an ignored option in the batch import, but I only need to import the * .exe file, so can I add an included option?

Sorry, my English is not good. The above question was converted using google translation. I hope you can understand and look forward to your reply.
