@chef

I did not quote follow your steps. But when I manually clicked on the refresh button (above Search options) I got a load of pending updates all of a sudden. So I guess this change has worked.

Thanks

KoolPal wrote:

This update is still not showing. Is there something that I need to do?

Hi KoolPal,

how did you configure SyMenu package management to update package definitions?

I changed this definition of its local default to the minimum which is one day. I reported some installation issue to a SPS editor in charge who replied in the following night to have fixed the issue and updated to a new version. When I tried an hour later to update the definition, I still not get the version offered the SPS editor has announced in his email. When I tried today, it worked. It showed the new package available and installation became possible. So the issue was fixed.

So if you still don't see the version you expect, verify your configuration in SyMenu package manager. It's the top left bar.

If you set it (temporarily if you prefer) to the minimum, you'll probably still not see any change unless you click on the update definition icon just left of this bar. Then you should see the updated version. On my system, it shows the previous version installed and the new update available.
