Well... the command window where you can monitor the SyMenu command is a part of SyMenu, it is not the real Windows cmd. In fact it is a read only window created only to view the results of your command.
If you ask SyMenu to execute a command during end, SyMenu can't really end until you close the command window.
This is the reason.
Your solution is correct because a batch file executes in the real Windows cmd windows that doesn't hang SyMenu.

Hi Gianluca,

Perhaps a stupid question; on SyMemu there is the option to run a Windows command when SyMenu starts but not when SyMenu ends; we have this option for programs but not for Windows commands; some days ago I need it and I solved (bypassed?) creating a .bat file and adding it into SyMenu as a program.

Sorry due to I'm not a great technician but is there any technical issue about to add this feature (i.e. windows commands when SyMenu ends) in Symenu ?.

As usual many thanks for this great utility; currently I've more than 250 programs/folders/links under SyMenu !!.

Greetings from Barcelona,

Sir_X
