Well to make SyMenu shows a menu entry for plugins you have to "install" at least one plugin.

To "install" a plugin you have to:

update SyMenu to the last available version

download the plugin

unzip the package inside the SyMenu 'Plugin' folder (you can find it at the same level of Config, Icons, Profiles and ProgramFiles folders)

every SyMenu plugin must reside inside a specific subfolder. In case of this plugin its folder is called 'SyMenu.Plugin.OpenFolder'

restart SyMenu and configure your new plugin

I know that the procedure could be automated but for now it is not possible.
Let me know if you have any problems with that (it is experimental yet).

SyMenu Open folder v0.1

Prerequisites
SyMenu version 2.04 or higher.

Description
I really hate when SyMenu opens a folder in Windows Explorer because I'm used to work with some Explorer replacement tools. BTW my favourite one is Total Commander.
Well when SyMenu opens a folder I usually have to copy the full path from Explorer and past it to TC to do what I need because I totally disaccustomed to the way Explorer works.

But since SyMenu supports a "rude and raw" plugin system, why don't write anything to make this work for me??? Well this is the spirit of IT programs!!

This is a very first release of the plugin. It only works when the Explorer replacement is already running and I add 4 possible programs: Free Commander, Multi Commander, Total Commander, Unreal Commander.

Installation:
- Download the archive and extract it to \SyMenu\Plugin\
edited by Gianluca on 5/6/2013

It is a right request because more than one files could have the same name and it is really uncomfortable to hover the mouse pointer on every item to know which is its real full path (overing a found element make its information tooltip appears).

Well the solution I'm working on is well illustrated by the attached image.
I'm waiting for feedback and suggestions.
